Membership in W5AC is open to anyone interested in amateur radio at Texas A&M University or the greater Bryan College Station metroplex area. We welcome undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty and staff, and community members!

Becoming a member gives you access to our shack, which includes a wide range of radio, test and measurement, and electronics equipment.

Hams don't just talk on the radio - they also work on antennas, build their own equipment, and much more. Being a member allows you to have a voice in what project the club works on.

The easiest way to join is by attending our meetings. To become a member, you must pay dues to our treasurer, submit your membership application, and agree to the club bylaws and operating rules. Dues are assessed according to the following schedule:

 Membership TypeYearSemester

($25 Cash)
($15 Cash)

($20 Cash)
($10 Cash)
($20 Cash)

New for the Fall 2020 semester, W5AC is pleased to announce that we can now accept dues payments electronically through the TAMU Marketplace system. To pay your dues electronically, please click here.

While we love to have as many voting members as possible, we do request that you consider whether or not you'll be present for club meetings so that you won't be a hindrance to club business proceedings. Remember, we need a certain percentage of our voting membership present if business is to be conducted!

For more information about the club or about ham radio, peruse our links or feel free to contact the club officers - Officer Info page.
