The Friends of W5AC listserv makes it easier to keep up with the growing list of former students and other friends of the Texas A&M Amateur Radio Club. The list server was set up by N7JXO. FoW5AC is maintained by K5FX.
The only people who can post are those subscribed to the list. All attachments are downloaded to the server and scanned for viruses. The virus scanner is updated every day. If someone sends a virus in an attachment, an email is sent back to them telling them they have a virus problem, and the message is deleted. Normal turnaround for mail messages is 1-2 minutes.
W5AC's newsgroups (tamu.hamradio.*) are no longer active.
